Student: That's my nephew's name (he's older than me). I always spelled his name, Shan. Then I saw he signed his name on a card and wrote an "e" at the end of it, and I knew it was a magic "e."

I always knew my daughter could understand how to read, but it was just that her understanding was jumbled. Now, she's noticing words everywhere and thinking about their spelling patterns, whether they follow a rule or not.

Ms Jenn works with my son, who is on the spectrum, and my middle schooler. She has made learning fun for them and adjusts her session to whatever they need to be successful. I would 100% recommend her to anyone, any age, any time. She's amazing!

This includes activities such as hearing and manipulating sounds, understanding spoken words as sequences of speech sounds, and connecting sounds to print. I also raise awareness of the articulatory features of phonemes, make connections between sounds and letters, and demonstrate how letters correspond to sounds, all of which impact reading and spelling.
